MADO is an independent, non-government, non-partisan, and non-profit organization established in December 12, 2017, to address poverty, human displacement, and climatic challenges in Somalia's Southwest State. The organization also focuses on reducing catastrophes and coping with disaster aftermaths and their negative impacts on poverty. MADO supports social services, including basic education, health services, and promotes human rights, protection, and peaceful coexistence to achieve lasting peace and post-conflict reconstruction. Founded by Somali professionals and community members, MADO advocates for climate justice and human rights.
